Wednesday, June 27th, 2007our SUBIC weekend trip – part 2 (Anvaya Cove)
Tuesday, June 26th, 2007Anvaya Cove is something new in our Subic itinerary. This place is newly acquired and currently being developed by Ayala Land.
Visiting this place, may be our first and last time because it is exclusive for members.. and we are “not yet” that rich to be one ;P again, thanks to our “tito claro’s” connections, we were allowed to enjoy the beauty of the place and take a plunge… it is so exclusive that during the time we were there, only a handful of people are enjoying the view and the beach.
The architecture of the place is really classy and relaxing, truly an Ayala project. How we wish we could visit this place, again.
our SUBIC weekend trip – part 1 (Forest Hills now Subic Greenhills)
Tuesday, June 26th, 2007It’s been 3 years since we last visited Subic and chill out. Last weekend (June 23 and 24) once again we went to one of our favorite vacation spots not so far from Manila — Subic Bay. As usual, we rented a unit at Forest Hills now called Subic Greenhills. This place is the best deal for us, specially if you’re going to spend the weekend with the whole family. Right now, units are being rented at Php 5,700/ night (discounted rate). Lucky us, we have our “Tito Claro” — our brother-in-law’s dad — and we got additional discounts plus special treatment! haha.. how can you check-in anytime in the morning and check-out the next day anytime in the afternoon without any additional charges, huh!?

Destiny Cable
Friday, June 15th, 2007When we first transfered to our home last January 1, 2006, we wished to subscribe to any cable tv provider. But back then, we are not willing to pay for a php 450-800 monthly service fee — since we are still recovering from wedding and home construction expenses.
However, early this year we had a chance to have a small talk to one of our clients, destiny cable, regarding their current promos. We were so happy that they do offer a weekend promo at discounted rates — unpublished promo.
At first, we were reluctant but the price was really tempting. From Php 5,400/year or Php 450/month subscription we only paid for Php3,000/year or Php 250/month! No connection fee but if you exceed the allowable length for the cable you have to pay for a certain amount per foot.
That was a steal for us! As for the service, so far it’s A-OK.
Right now, our little angel loves watching their 24-hr Disney Playhouse Channel which we do approve because it is really baby/kid friendly.
So what are you waiting for? Contact your nearest Destinty Cable provider and inquire if they still have this promo up for grabs!
