Jona’s Pares has been part of our list of comfort foods ever since we started operating our traditional business in 2003. Through the years of eating here we’ve come up with our super barat combo 
hahaha! that you should watch out for ;P
Jona’s is famous for their yummy pares, though this doesn’t come cheap compared to other pares house, but people continue to buy this and indulge.
Jona’s Pares Php 85 per order
When you’re eating at Jona’s the ambiance is more of a fastfood - chinese restaurant combination. It is fully airconditoned and they have ample parking.
As for our barat combo good for 2 people:
2 orders of siomai (2pcs per order at Php 28/order)
2 orders of fried rice (php 35/order) and
1 order of lotong (php 5/cup)
That’s about php 131, if you’ll order drinks that will add some more. But for us, water and soup would do 
Aha! you might be wondering what’s “lotong”? … That’s the sauce of Pares or the beef stew. Instead of ordering the stew, we only order lotong, same goodness less the guilt of eating the fatty beef ;P
So what are you waiting for? If you happen to be at Retiro area, Divisoria Mall or SM San Lazaro, give it a try. You’ll love their Pares. It’s one of the best we’ve ever tasted
