Divisoria is always our best bet for cheap but great finds… may it be for your kid’s birthday party favor, supplies in your office, corporate giveaways or whatever it is that you need … most likely you can find it in our home sweet “divilandia”!
Yup, we call it “divilandia”!… There’s a forum that many budget conscious mommies shares there ideas and great finds for home needs and baby stuff. They call divisoria … “divilandia” and now, we call it that way since we consider it a shopper’s paradise.
Last tuesday, August 21, 2007, we went to divilandia to scout for party favors for Julienne’s upcoming birthday party, some supplies for the office and for possible corporate giveaways this yuletide season.
You wouldn’t believe what we bought, how much we spent and what’s on our list for our next visit. We’ll post another entry for the party favors that we bought which only cost us 1,200 for everything (stationary sets, tumblers, stickers, coloring books, puzzles, bags, watches and “strawberry shortcake”-like hats)
Barat tips:
1. Don’t wear your jewelries when you go there. Jeans, shirt and flip-flops/sneakers would be the best attire plus a belt bag 
(this is the reason why one of the sales lady thought that i’m a trader hehehe)
2. Visit divi on a weekday and the day after the holiday (normally tuesday) would be the best timing, since everybody’s excited to go back to the office after a long weekend. 
3. Don’t limit yourself to tutuban and 168. If you think, prices here are oh sooo cheap, wait until you visit the new divisoria mall and the streets of divisoria. You wouldn’t believe the price!
4. Buy in wholesale, this only refers to 6 pcs.
5. Make a list or know what are the items you would buy, since you’ll be lured with the wide selection of items in divilandia.
6. Be prepared to carry your purchases, unless you bring your alalay with you or hire some “tambays” to carry it for you. You may also hire a pedicab to drive you to the parking area if you’re already tired with all the shopping
7. You may park at 168 or tutuban mall.

2. summer dresses
3. swimsuits (2 pc and 3 pc with cover up)

Hi kay! I was just at 168 (divisoria this morning :)) …
1. bubble shirts
(can range from Php 50 to Php 300… depending on style and material… you can find the Php 50 shirts at the bangketa)
2. summer dresses
(it depends on the style and quality, i am very particular with the material and the cut so the summer dresses that i bought ranged from Php 350 to Php 480 but these dresses costs around php 800 to php 1,000 at Greenhills)
3. swimsuits (2 pc and 3 pc with cover up)
i didn’t ask for the price since i just bought mine last week
4. shorts (stripes)
at the bangketa and tutuban prime block you may find Php 100 - Php 150 shorts but at 168 you can find php 200 - php 300 (mahal!)

kung hindi mo type yung magulo at “divi” feeling, may mga mabibili ka na sa 168, mura naman na din dito plus hindi pa hassle kasi mall type talaga yung feeling. Pero kung mas mura pa hanap mo sa New Divisoria Mall ka pumunta. Lahat ng kailangan mo andun. Parang one stop shop yun, pati tarpauline printing, mga balloons and imported candies meron dun
Yung tumbler na pwede mong i-customized yung print sa 168 yung nakuha kong supplier. Pag mga 6pcs- 24pcs around Php 40 each pero pag mga 100pcs yung last na tanong ko php 28 lang

hello po! first ko pong pupunta ng divisoria (sana hindi ako mawala). kailangan ko po kasi ng mga loot bags, balloons, etc., para sa first bday ng pinsan ko. san po ung new divisoria mall? pano po pumunta dun galing baclaran LRT? saka, san din po nakakabili ng mga tela dun? may street po ba na specific? salamat po!

From Recto avenue going towards Tutuban Mall, look for Tabora St. Nandito yung bilihan ng mga tela. Pagdiniretso mo yung Tabora St., sa dulo na nun yung New Divisoria Mall. Sa ngayon, madaming tao sa Divi kasi pasukan. Kung hindi ka naman nag mamadali mga nextweek na pumunta para hindi masyadong siksikan.

Try to check out 168 or Divi mall. If you’ll get more than 12pcs you’ll definitely get a good price.
